If anyone is heading this way soon and fancies trafficking said items let me know and we'll buy the beer. Cheers This username sucks, so I'm BBKid now instead. skymama 37 #2 March 28, 2003 Don't you know anyone there with a credit card? What about your parents? You could always just pay them in cash and have them order it for you.She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
staticnewbie 0 #3 March 28, 2003 Erm, this won't make sense to foreigner types, but I'm a scouser, and therefore people tend not to trust me with means of transferring cash around. Kind of like when people would rather walk 5 miles to my house than leave their car outside . My parents are unlikely to let me use their credit cards for anything so frivolous, even though they'd get the money back (they don't like me skydiving anyway). Also, the credit cards my friends do have don't work on US websites. This username sucks, so I'm BBKid now instead. Replies, insults, sexual favours and death threats to be sent there from now on. miked10270 0 #9 March 28, 2003 Hi Nick, Why not Pm ZEEMAX - isn't he in Florida doing his AFF? Failing which... If you're at Durham, do you jump at Peterlee? There's surely no shortage of transatlantic contacts there, Even a chance of Ian ordering them for you if you ask nicelyMike. staticnewbie 0 #10 March 28, 2003 QuoteDidn't you say you were Scottish in another thread.... Answering many questions - like most scousers I am a mixed bag: Dad is Scottish, Mum is Scottish/Irish. I have a Scottish surname, a kilt and am descended from people in Braveheart (I have more proof than this), so I think it counts. Yet I support England in the world cup - strange. No, I don't know Ringo, if you mean the ex-Beatle, but if he is someone on this forum, I don't know him either. Mike, I don't know who this Zeemax fella is, but I might give him a holler. Ian would probably think I'm a bit of a ponce if I asked him to order belts for us - he still probably has doubts after I turned up to the DZ in 38 knot winds trying to jump!!!
