Can it get any worse?

Recommended Posts

My dog just passed away last Monday, and I'm just trying to get over it, slowly. Then today, I witness a dog get hit/run over, by a pick up truck! Geez, I didn't have to see that, I almost got sick:(. At least the driver stopped. It wasn't his fault, the two dogs just ran right out in front of him. I just didn't need this 'ingrained' into my memory.

Just had to vent, sorry:(.

Hang in, Jan...

Big gigantic hugs to you. It's been really hard lately. It will get better, I promise.

Thanks, Michele. I am hangin in there and I know it will get better. Friday, I leave for AZ, where it is warm and sunny and my son has two dogs that will really get spoiled this time!

One fine day, you're going to meet him running down the proverbial field catching the proverbial stick. Have you seen a fairly recent cartoon called "All dogs go to heaven"?

Skydiving is easy. All you have to do is relax while plummetting at 120 mph from 10,000' with nothing but some nylon and webbing to save you.

Awww... that sucks. I'm very sorry to hear about your dog passing away ... witnessing a dog getting run over isn't something you needed ... with everything that's going on these days, we just don't need to see stuff like that.

I try to stop and avoid running into anything living on the road. I drive a lot for work and knock on wood haven't hit anything at work.
Until the other night almost a week ago. I'd never seen one live before, but a pheasant runs out in front of my car. So i slow down quickly, but not slam on the brakes. Just as I start to feel relieved that it will make it across the road.... WHACK.... we get rear ended by a Jeep Cherokee. >:(:S
Thankfully no damage. my reporter ends up with a little whip lash/headache and the other guy is fine.:):)
