Skyrose7 0 #1 March 31, 2003 Ehh, my weekend is over, so I thought I would start it. 0:3:0 I had three great sitfly jumps today with the boys. More docking!! Too bad it was -2 degrees at altitude and prob not even 30 degrees on the ground! A couple layers fixed that up and it turned out to be a great day. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The mind is like a parachute--it works better when it is open. JUMP. Beautiful weekend, but pollen is starting to pick up. Uh, Mary? 60 degrees at 14K, 80 on the ground. MOVE!
homer 0 #7 March 31, 2003 I got 3 in yesterday and what a beautiful day it was here in SE Washington. Plus BEER for my first two 7-ways as well as my first jump where I was taken out not only by 1 jumper from above but 2 on the same jump. My back still hurts. Stomach, aches all over, the whole nine yards. Took the time to get the sink fixed, while she rested. Actually, not a bad weekend. mouth 0 #11 March 31, 2003 625:4:0 625 sq ft of tile grout sealed with waterproofing. 4 fun jumps Sat in 80 degree weather. 2 with newbies who actually taught me a thing or two. One solo to play with my sit. One 3 way with a guy getting his coaches rating. He needed to play around with fall rates which was fun. No beer owed. I'm saving it for next weekend when I plan to owe at least 3 cases. Oh, and one dinner date with a friend postponed (sorry, I'll make it up to you I promise) due to my grandmother calling me 14 time within the 4 hours I was at the DZ on Sat. -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit. jceman 1 #12 March 31, 2003 0:0:0 Beautiful day yesterday, but TLML decided not to jump because the leg straps would have gone over her huge bruise, so she decided to sit the weekend out. Did go to the DZ and spent some time visiting with our friends, esp. PLFExpert. Was going to go this morning as we had a number of tandems scheduled, but the weather was terrible. Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?

So me and Lolie just hung out at the dz. We did make a run into town for twirley cookies. No beer. In fact i didn't even drink any alcohol all weekend. GrumpySmurf 0 #18 March 31, 2003 Tell me about it - pretty much the same scenario - trapped in a 2004 model SUV for field trials going back and forth between Miami and Naples, Fl. along 75 and 41. I was just hoping a gator would sneak out on the road so I could get me some gatorskin boots. The most exciting part of this week was the tornado that passed by us 2 miles away on Thursday, oh and almost getting arrested for driving in a 'suspicious vehicle'.
