That's right boys and girls...

I just went a little further in debt and became the pre-second purchaser of a spanking brand new Aerodyne Pilot 168 from our dearest Lisa at Square 1!!!

This is also my pre-second new canopy...

Needless to say I am fairly excited!!!

Oh and I by the way... Carolyn at Aerodyne truly ROCKS!!! She sent me not only 1, but 2 swatch sets of the new material! That way I could cut them up and play with them to see what color combos to use!

Of course all of you regulars here know how well Lisa ROCKS... So I won't get in to that!

Goudha is for Buddha, and that's good enough for me!

Congrats....

Did you get to demo the canopy first? What's it like? How does it fly? I like the ZP Aerodyne uses and I'm getting antsy about replacing my Triathlon and the Pilot was something I was thinking about....
So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh
Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright
'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life
Make light!

I actually took a leap of faith.....

I have spoken to a few people about the new canopy whose opinion I trust, and they say that the openings are slightly better than that of the saber2 (not so twitchy) and flight characteristics are very comparable, and lastly i was told the landings are a little simpler on the pilot

i took this leap of faith based on their reviews, and the fact that the introductory pricing is hard to pass up for a brand new canopy

i jump a tri now, so i have been pleased with aerodyne thus far

i am sure they will not fail me this time

as soon as my new baby arrives, i will post a full review with photos
