sdctlc 0 #6 April 2, 2003 Well that is Awesome!!The one thing that quickly came to my mind if the intel is that good that they were able to pinpoint the location and get her out, I would have to think that a good chunk off the other intel may be good as well. The worldwide press and even in some cases the US press is quick to question the information that the military hints at. Just confirmed by MSNBC that "several American soldiers' bodies were found at the same location". They are not saying which unit or whose bodies they were. There are 22 currently held as POWs or "whereabouts unknown". As to the Battle of Baghdad, at least one regiment is on the way, and has bridged the Tigris river. Instead, I heard a feminist diatribe about how American female POWs were treated "the same" during PGW1, preceded by more talking-head criticism of the war plan from "experts". NPR doesn't try to be an up-to-the-minute all-news-all-the-time station. It's not really part of their charter. They instead pick an interesting (to them) facet from the day's news and go into it.
