happythoughts 0 #53 December 16, 2002 "OK, here's where I draw the line. " Would it be a... straight line? Well, it better be or you're goin' to hayull. A dotted line would be "undecided". Not a blank line or a solid line. A "grey" area. Better be clear on this.
happythoughts 0 #54 December 16, 2002 Quote Quote but you are disrespectful Actually....I'm quite angry with the guy. I mean...he put other's lives at risk...and what about the children? I mean...what kid these days DOESN'T like Spiderman.....and they had to see him plunge to his death. The trauma....the trauma... I don't know about Jackass but we definately have a Darwin Award candidate. Imagine you are a kid... (a younger kid)... you are walking with your parents... Spiderman lands on your parent and kills them. Does that mean that S. thought your parent was too evil to just capture? Talk about being mentally scarred. Whew! jtval 0 #66 December 16, 2002 from what Ive read and Just watched I doubt this guy planned on suicide. Imagine if a group of whuffo's saw a skydiver go in! they would all call it suicide. I mean its possible this guy was LOST! they trying to tie him to a bomb threat? com'on!he was a 20 year old so He probably didnt have as much experience as he Needed! I wonder if the "NOTE" was just a disclaimer in case he fell! Hmmm! My photos My Videos

flypunk 0 #68 December 17, 2002 I will go with the backup plan theory; he was prepared for ithe climb and the note was backup. Insane... a little bit, suicidal? there are easier ways, and you don't really need to make it to the 45th story. And out the window goes my plan to place the batman logo on that stupid light on the top. ...

ramon 0 #74 December 17, 2002 The live news guy on the video said the authorities told him what was on the note. the kid was "upset about treatment of muslims in theis country" and that he did not want the "US to get involved in another war like vietnam". The contents of this note were never discussed again on any "news" website. if it was a suicide and he wanted to get the note's contents national or local atention, I guess it did not happen and he died for nothing. What is also great is all the idiot reports that first came out. every report said he did not have any climbing tools...but the very first photo I saw showed him using a tool to grab the corner of the building. then "wuffo" version of rock climbers gave their account of the guy pushing himself off of the building in an obvious suicide. when of course if his legs were proping him up or he were pushing on his cam or grabbing device, which then let loose, it might look like he was leaping also. the cops later printed that. I'm still wondering if we will hear what was on the note. ramon"Revolution is an abrupt change in the form of misgovernment.", Ambrose Bierce.
wmw999 2,589 #75 December 17, 2002 I saw video taken of just before and during the fall. It looked deliberate, and would be very easy to misunderstand if it wasn't.
