cloudseeker2001 0 #39 December 16, 2002 right on! that would have been pretty funny! Quote My dad used to work on the 34th floor. CrazyThomas 0 #41 December 16, 2002 Quote that would be a funny call! WHOOPS! OK, here's where I draw the line. FUCK YOU ALL who said this shit would be funny. Seriously, you want to see this happen? You think it would be funny if it happened to be your friend? Huh? And what if this person has friends or family that read this board? Do you think it would help them in their time of pain to see other people laughing at their child's death? You are not only sick fucks for thinking this funny, but you are disrespectful. Had you experienced BAD SHIT like this, you may understand laughing is not appropriate. Go talk amongst yourselves about this. keep your smart-ass laughs off a DEATH subject. This is a serious event, and you pricks laugh. Gee, I wonder why people hate me....... Thomas "Hi Kettle. Meet Pot. Pot, this is Kettle."

If I had a friend or family member that climbed up the outside of a building in a Spiderman costume, and then fell off....I would find it hilarious....I mean...WTF could he have been thinking? I'd be right there saying what a dumbass he was. I think people that free climb realize the risks associated. Just like BASE I don't find the risk vs. reward benefit to be appealing. So I don't do it. Quoteyou pricks laugh Yes....Yes I do...

wmw999 2,588 #46 December 16, 2002 I actually am wondering in the back of my mind if this is a guy who used to jump here 20+ years ago. Kind of crazy, he climbed a couple of buildings wearing costumes. He said he did it for cancer research (his dad had died of cancer). I rather doubt it's he (I haven't heard of him doing it in a long time, and this kind of stunt is a lot harder to do when you're in your 40's), but that niggling feeling in my mind is still there. And no, it wouldn't be funny. I can remember joking about a guy who was trapped in his car under a flooding overpass once. (you know "couldn't roll down the windows, just waited, didn't want to sacrifice the Cadillac", etc). He turned out to be the uncle of a co-worker. What's the point of all this musing? Heck if I know... But I'm probably not making any spatula jokes. Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. freeflir29 0 #47 December 16, 2002 Quote but you are disrespectful Actually....I'm quite angry with the guy. I mean...he put other's lives at risk...and what about the children? I mean...what kid these days DOESN'T like Spiderman.....and they had to see him plunge to his death. The trauma....the trauma... I don't know about Jackass but we definately have a Darwin Award candidate.
