Guest #1 April 9, 2003 Now that the killing is almost over, we can perhaps take a break from the euphoria to see the cost that has been paid by some. This Iraqi boy lost everything. It's tragic, no doubt, but I ask you to think of the 150 kids, about his age, busted from jail yesterday by coalition troops. One hopes they'll be able to speak to each other. Further, our compassion must be tempered by the realization that perhaps now, no others will suffer as this child has."The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat." QuickDraw 0 #2 April 9, 2003 I saw this on the news last night. Heartbreaking...truly heartbreaking, watching the tears running down his face, being lit up by camera flashes. -- Hope you don't die. -- I'm fucking winning
Push 0 #3 April 9, 2003 There were a few more stories like this on Reuters before. Still, I think that, at least from what we've seen so far, the US effort to reduce civilian casualties was commendable. Perhaps there was a way to win this war without any civilian casualties, but I don't see it. -- Toggle Whippin' Yahoo Skydiving is easy.
