Viking 0 #1 April 11, 2003 I havn't been home to Louisiana in two years (since i moved to Cali) I can't wait to see how much has changed. I have called a few of my friends, one of whom is stationed in the gulf with the Navy. I miss the simple stuff i used to do back home. Stuff like go hiking around the swamp just for the fun of it. Going down to the 100 yard long beach we have infront of my house that has become a shooting range for us and plink with my .22 rifle. going fishing on the pond................actually catching somthing LOL. Riding my bike.....oh wait my bike is here now. I've been out of NY for 6 years now. everytime i go home I find a few less reasons for a new trip. this time I found a reason to go home that I didnt even realize existed.....so I guess it depends on how you look at it!
