diverdriver 7 #1 April 12, 2003 MICROBURST! We got ground stopped and watched about 8 planes do go-arounds because of about 3 microbursts that I saw come through Denver international. I snapped this one picture of the microburst. Can't see it? That's what makes them so dangerous. You can only see the effect. You see the "fingers" hanging down from the cloud and then the dust on the ground is kicked "up" on the side of the core. Look at the horizon of the picture and you will see a "jut" up of dirt.
