When Somebody Loves You...

Recommended Posts

Is that you in the pic??? I think I saw you on the plane load last Sunday morning, I think sitting towards the front.

Took another look, yes, I definitely saw you, you were parachuting down with some others Sunday morning, dont remember clearly whether you were on the first load or not, I think you were. Not that I was paying much attention to it, but there was one girl on board with short brown hair I remember.

I didnt know if you wanted to talk to me or not, but Ill introduce myself next time. The next time may be AFF-1, so dont be surprised if Im acting nervous. I try not to, but hey, the phobia hasnt completely gone.

I saw you around today (Sunday) about 20 times, and you saw me probably several times without knowing who I was. So Ill point myself out:

Sunday morning, you were squatting down and facing the pool area talking on a cellular phone, looking straight towards me. I was the only one in the pool, wearing a speedo, and was drying off. You were also wearing a blue jumpsuit that day.

Another time, I was parachuting back down the student area with Greg, he was telling me some things as we were walking by you, you were sitting on the bleachers talking to this girl I had met in the holding area (brunette, from SoCal, was doing her solo that day).

Lets make this fun, see if you can spot me next time! I may be there next Saturday doing the AFF-1 then Sunday morning making the jump, if not Sunday morning doing another tandem-2. Depends on time and money.

By the way, youre right, they are grey. I was wearing one that day.

I talk to everyone so make sure to say hi! Just note that when I am training I generally suffer from tunnel vision;)

I'd be worried if you weren't nervous! No worries...

TBH those are heavy training days and although I would love to play your game, I am afraid my focus will be elsewhere. I could just ask at the school;) I would much prefer you just walk up and say hello.B| I don't bite, unless asked to;)
Cheers!

Sounds like youre pumping too much adrenaline, wow. Are you trying out for their skydiving team? They were in the plane both times we jumped, and man are those guys intense, holy shit. It was really cool to be jumping out with a skydiving team, unforgettable. I dont know if you saw it, but one of them rammed into anothers' parachute on landing, you could hear the "BOOM", nobody hurt, but bad entanglement. Those people dont bullshit do they? They must have jumped 50 times by my second one.

No, no, no, its not what you think. I always wear a speedo going swimming because its easier to dry off. I was wearing it under the jumpsuit that day, felt kind of good.

I noticed a lot of half dressed Germans there too, I need to get my ass in that kind of shape and have about one week to do it before Cal. Now they were trying to pick up American chicks, no doubt. Wonder if they had any success. Then there was the Russian 4-way team that went up with us on the second run.

Yea, I can see its pretty demanding. I dont know if youre trying out for a team or not, but if you are, good luck! I like making a game out of everything, but Ill just say hi. You can ask Greg who I am, my name's Chris, or "the guy who doesnt like hard rip cord pulls", he'll definitely know who youre talking about.

Talk to you later!

hehehe, we always called them "walk factor" if you didn't get a turnaround after they exited, you would be walkin':D

Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.

touche We were sharing Gary at a camp in houston and were jumping form full altitude so it came into play a couple of times. And you are correct, they are a great group of guys, fun to be around.

Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.

Kind of figured you were.

Yes Airspeed is very focused, but the ones you jumped with were actually a different 4-way team "Warp Factor"

You talk about focused? They didnt have thier eyes off that doorway the entire trip up. Watching them exit was more of an adrenaline rush then exiting. But the real rush was watching the photographer, always climbs out on the side of the plane first, I dont know what in the hell he is standing on. Oh man is this shit intense. Felt great on that last exit I did, just kind of stared up at the plane for a while till dropping into position, oh boy did that feel good. That was better than sex, drugs, or anything else you can come up with. You can call it skydiving, I call it getting laid.

Well, let me see now, Im a guy, and Im not there to pick up chicks. Im just there to get laid, ha ha! You should try jumping in a speedo sometime, wear it under the jumpsuit.
