peppermint 0 #1 April 15, 2003 Like many of folks, it's been erratic postings due to various thingies going on in life and work environments. Plus, the weather is lovely, so I'm truly enjoying my morning walks and communions with the sun and stars as some fade and another dawns. There's something mystic to me about dawn; it heats me, even on cold, icy winter mornings, and warms my bones to their marrow. It energizes me to the point where I feel so damned good, I feel invincible. Two months ago, I could barely drag ass out of bed after twelve hours in a literal coma. These days, my windows having excellent eastern exposure, waking after five hours of restful light sleep is a cinch. I beat the alarumen clocken, even, most days. The pull of the diurnal cycle on the ancient substrates of species genetics deep down in the little wiggly bits of the brain. The pull of the planets and stars gathers us together in a truly Spring-like fashion. Ah! Spring! The flowing wave returns not, nor does the passing hour. AggieDave 6 #2 April 15, 2003 My spring fever is doing well, especially since I'm at the DZ atleast 5 days out of 7. It especially helps since I usually get atleast 1 jump each of those days and usually 5+ more on the weekend.I know, I'm an asshole, right? --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." AggieDave 6 #5 April 15, 2003 Well, no, that'd be stating fact...then again, you could get over to Aggieland and be an asshole too, jumping all the time and all. --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
CanuckInUSA 0 #6 April 15, 2003 It seems that here in CO we've bypassed spring and went from winter right into summer. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
peppermint 0 #7 April 15, 2003 That's nice and all, but I enjoy the richness and beauty of each season. Each one brings me to life in a completely different way (but none quite like Spring). I do plan on making the AOT memorial boogie this year. But i have commitments to SSM also so traveling isn't easy. And lastly, I am already an asshole according to my ex for jumping all the time. AggieDave 6 #9 April 15, 2003 Yeah, I understand the commitments, that's how I am with SD Aggieland. The boogie is going to kick ASS this year! --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

My Avatar picture was taken at dawn.BASE

No, I 'm the asshole, I managed 10 in two days last weekend and that included blowing off the last 3 hours of Sat afternoon and jumping at a small DZ on Sunday...and getting called to work early....imagine the financial damage I will be able to inflict this weekend...I'm so glad I don't live somewhere it snows in the winter... Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
