skydiving sucks.

Recommended Posts

i know, i know. I just prefered trying to sit. I'm not naming names, but yes the instructors knew what i was doing and yes the gear was ok for FF.

I couldn't afford FS1 so was just having some fun in the air :)

The Chief instructor looked at my 22 jumps, the last 6 had been trying to sit fly, and told me i wasn't going to be doing that again for some time :( bah.. no fair. who wants to fly belly to earth...

...

go to any UK DZ and they will tell you the same! - Learn to flat fly first! you aint got the awareness to freefly with 22 jumps! Jesus dude! wind your neck in and listen to the guys with 1000's of jumps telling you this - its cause they dont want a fatality! >:(

Loose the attitude and you may find people will help you - keep it - and you will be doing solos! ha! Billy No mates!!!

I think truly the way to go is Hinton! I have heard more bad things about Headcorn since i returned, unless your in the 'click' then forget it. They're a bunch of arseholes forget it your too good for em, jump Hinton instead :)

Yeah like DE is gonna let the flyboy with 22 jumps go sit flying! - hehehe - let me know when he asks I gotta see DE's face!!!

Hi Zee

Yeh it sucks doesent it coming back from a place like Seb (Fl) to the UK "military style" DZ's. But most places, once they get to know you are pretty cool. I've particularly found Hinton to be a good vibe, but Im sure most DZ's are like that once they know your sticking around.

Dont worry about your enthusiasm to do cool stuff before the basics. Im pretty sure everyone has felt like that at the start. Just be sure to listen to advice, no matter how hard it is to take...

Dude, you said your funds are lacking....Just a tip M8, if you get a chance, on the weekend, then try to learn to pack....it will save you bucks in the long-run.... and erm its fun... If you do decide to learn then make sure you ask to learn on a new ZP :P:P

Hope u get in the air.

Mike

Sas - Whats Langar like these days??

You mean me ?
I have yet to show my face there, Highfly (Matt) has been pestering me to get up there,
I want to, but i want my fs1 in the bag first, burning holes in the sky won't learn me anything. [:/]

Having said that, i am going up for the boogie in may dude, look me up. B|

As it happens MAC i wanst insinuating Hinton would let him FF. I only have 50 odd jumps but I did FS1 out in FL knowing that the home DZ's wont let u try FF without it. What I was getting at however, is that the vibe at Hinton is markedly different to that at Headcorn. I only spent a weekend there but found everyone to be very friendly and helpfull. B|
