jtval 0 #1 March 22, 2003 with my guitars! all 7 of them! some of you may not "get" this but there are certain times when you kinda take absense to your music. even though I play almost everyday I don't usually get a chance to REALLY get the musician in me stirred up! I have found my way back to that spot. I have been writting GOOD tunes again. its kinda like unlocked the door to your soul. when things get too busy you have to shut that door and concentrate on other things in your life. but when you find the trime to REVISIT that MUSICIAN SPIRIT, it gets GOOD! I used to be able to ask someone to give me a topic to write abou tand I would belt out a tune! Im still working on reviving that but hell Its BAAA-aacck anyone got any topics? NO WAR BULLSHIT Ive written enough of those in the past!My photos My Videos

skymama 37 #4 March 22, 2003 Quote anyone got any topics? write about how in love you are with your guitars, with sexual innuendo so that one would think you are talking about a woman. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

I only have four ( all basses ) but I got a wall of amps and they all go to 11! I would do earthquake simulation in the barracks at grand forks. lawrocket 3 #12 March 22, 2003 Dude, I understand totally! My guitars are my catharsis, and in many ways, very good friends. My main electric is named "Mistress." It got that name from my mother, who commented that "That thing is like your mistress! It's the first thing you go to when you get home." It's kind of odd to name my guitar. BB King has "Lucille" and I have my beautiful black Mistress. Everyone knows her name. A buddy of mine, who used her on a CD, credited in the liner notes, "Your Mistress love me long time!" I had to laugh. Like you, I can't help but want more instruments. Mistress is a 1991 Les Paul. I got her at a pawn shop, and she was customized. I also own a Fender bass, an Alvarez Electric-Acoustic, and a Mandolin that occupies my office, since it is the only instrument that is as decorative as it is musical. I'll play her, too. Next up is a banjo or a lap or pedal steel. Tune that sucker up to E9 and start learning. Keep up the music, man. My wife is hotter than your wife. AggieDave 6 #14 March 22, 2003 Right on! I've got two new songs that I'm currently working on, just can't quite get them right, but they will. Although I've been a musician for over 12 years, I've just now found the joys of song writing, this is really great, I love it!--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
