Jessica 0 #1 April 18, 2003 KIDS ‘TERRIFIED' OF DRACO MALFOY ACTOR In a twisted way, it's the ultimate compliment for an actor. “Harry Potter” star Tom Felton said children keep bursting into tears every time they see him in public, reports Ananova.com. Felton plays Harry's evil adversary, Draco Malfoy, in the Potter films — and some young fans find his performance a little too convincing. He said every time he walks down the street he makes children cry. “Kids of 6 and under have a real thing against me,” the 15-year-old actor said. “They cringe and start crying. Some kids are really quite terrified of me. I even scared the director Chris Columbus' children when I first met them. “It's upsetting and not very nice because I'm not like that in real life. But at least it proves you've done your job well.” Meanwhile, “Potter” author J.K. Rowling has said one of the characters in the forthcoming fifth book, “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,” will be killed off. And Felton suspects Draco might be the one who meets a sticky end. “I've got the feeling I'm going to plunge to a bloody death,” he said.Skydiving is for cool people only
Dragontail 0 #2 April 18, 2003 Wow - I doubt I could handle that myself. Hell, my feelings are hurt if a dog doesn't like me much less a child. Interesting bit of info though
Iflyme 0 #3 April 18, 2003 Of course, I had to race out and get the latest Harry Potter dvd the first day it was available here ... and I do agree that Felton did play the role of Malfoy convincingly!
