OK, I have absolutely nothing invested in this! That said, my ex-husband and son are trying to get votes for a band in a talent competition at Talent Match. The band is Pilot Radio, and they're pretty good. Their website is Pilot Radio . Their genre is rock. Use the FAN box to start.

My ex is a promoter, and he's really up on this band. I have a couple of their CD's and enjoy them.

Bad news: there's a sign-in process for the contest. You can only vote once per IP address.
Good news: you get to find out about all kinds of bands even if you don't vote.

The contest runs until 2:00AM, so vote early, y'all, and if you get a new IP address per session, well, then vote often!

I've been asked to post better instructions:
After signing in (it should log you in automatically), click the orange button up top that says "Backstage"
After that link, click the link on the left hand side of the screen that says "Talent Dig 2003"
After that, you'll need to click the link that says "World Wildcards"
This will bring up a chart breaking down the contest to round six...click the link partway down that says "Pilot Radio"
From there, just vote for the band Pilot Radio please :) Thanks!

Now you're lying. Anyone who lists being in labor as one of their accomplishments has a lot invested. I kid you because I love you! But you knew that already. I went to the site and the band is very good. I'll throw down a vote for sure. I'm a Toad fan so these guys really do it for me. Which one is your baby boy? By the way I used to hate it when my mom called me that. Man I miss my mom.

Actually, he's not in the band -- his dad's the promoter, and he works with his dad sometimes (most of the time he's in college).

He had the opportunity to drive around with them on tour as a roadie last year for a couple of weeks, and turned it down! I still can't believe it.

Oh well.

But you can still have a signed copy I'm sure.
