Las Vegas Nightclubs

Recommended Posts

Going to Vegas this weekend... Never been to any of the nightclubs - any suggestions for a good one?

I've been looking at Seven or Rain in the Desert - has anyone been to these clubs?

Basically we're looking for somewhere to party and dance and such (techno music and cool scenery ;-), but also a place that will have seating and not take two hours to get in...

Thanks for any advice... B|

We're staying at the Stratosphere (not too fancy, but there's a spa tub in the room ;-) Karen and her dude are getting married on Sunday (4/20), and that's also our anniversary, as well as Karen's birthday - so I think a bit of partying is in order :o

You're in the BEQ at Nellis? Not the same as Vegas, unless you're out living on the economy, of course. B|

Studio 54 in the MGM grand is supposed to be the place to be....

I was there on a Sunday and Monday, the clubs closed on Sunday's but my buddy who goes to Vegas all the time was telling me thats a hot place.

Dress Code.

Accelerate hard to get them looking, then slam on the fronts and rollright beside the car, hanging the back wheel at eye level for a few seconds. Guaranteed reaction- Dave Sonsky

Here are the places to be: Studio 54 is an awesome place. Rain in the palms is awesome (hahah crashed a private party there in July open bar and smash mouth) but the best place to go is a place called The Beach. You'll need to take a cab, not within walking distance, well from the Strato nothing really is. You can take a bus up and down the strip for like 2 bucks to get to the palms and MGM. I highly recommend the beach! also, figure out which hotels are connected via trains, it cuts down on the walking.

The Rio is off trhe strip but it has a couple of cool places. The Voodoo lounge is at the top of the tower and it is awesome, dress code. They also have a Clud downstairs that goes off, but I don't remeber the cost. Wait...I don't remember much!
...FUN FOR ALL!

Well congratulations, Oh and don't use your non-legal rig on that non-legal strato-spire in that quazi-legal town in the desert, unless you get video. :P

the club in the Luxor is called RA..it has (had) a dress code and is ok some nights but dead on others..it really depends on the crowd..the Beach is a sure winner if your after meat market type dancin fun..

for atmosphere Rain is cool as well...

lately i avoid clubs in vegas..the tourist scene gets old, you'll find me in Binion's wandering between the blackjack & the craps tables...

Did you have to make reservations or wait in long lines to get in any of these places?

Talk to the concierge at your hotel. They can usually get you tickets to get in that are the same cost (maybe a couple bucks extra) as the cover charge but get you to the front of the line. In some of them you can also buy reserved tables.

its old school, but i love that place..i made nearly $2000 in 4 hours of blackjack..got bored and wandered over to the craps table where i proceeded to lose half of it before catching a good shooter on a streak and walked out with almost $4000.

when i'm simply paying for fun and drinks there is always "let it ride" so easy it requires no thought at all (so you can get LIIT) and yet has pretty good profits when your hot...
