mountainman 0 #1 April 20, 2003 Here are some pics I took at the DZ (SWC - Richmond, IN)... http://www.jumpinduo.com/skydivingpics/19apr03/ The last ones will show you why NOT to reach up before your slider is all the way down. BadDog 0 #2 April 20, 2003 You need some little slider bumpers for your fingers. That or start packing with the slider down.

mountainman 0 #4 April 21, 2003 LOL... maybe I'll pack it with the slider down if I plan to jump from 500' or something. Heh. When are you heading back out there Baddog ? Yes Viking... ouch. Although, after it happened, I went in, cleaned it off, put a bandaid on and packed it up. LOL It just bled a lot. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

Slowfaller 0 #7 April 21, 2003 That finger looks like it hurts! Ouch... Any plans on hitting up the Chicago area again? SDC perhaps? Chris --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM

Chris Hey man... actually we were talking about hitting up Chicago in the end of May/beginning of June again. We'd probably stay somewhere closer to the DZ and just skip the city altogether. I hate Chicago. LOL Anyway... yeah, the finger hurt but it is doing better. It stopped bleeding at least. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

indyz 1 #12 April 22, 2003 Quote Here is my one pic from the weekend. GEEK!!! That wide angle lense makes it look like you have a nice rack And no gloves! I'm ever so pissed. Just 100 miles to the south it's shorts weather, and here I am torn between whether I should wear my heavy jacket or my light jacket.
PhreeZone 20 #13 April 22, 2003 I'm competing with Clay for man-boobs now huh? Not only no glove... I had to take off the freefly jacket since I was burning up too much and sitting next to the tailgate was a nice way to cool off. Its cooled off since then and I wore a light jacket to work.... Oh yeah... I wore just the shorts and freefly pants withthat long sleeve t all day and was looking for a short sleever to stay cool...I do think I need to take the camera off that focus level and put it on something else next jump. RevJim 0 #14 April 22, 2003 Sweet, SWEET pic there Eric. I gotta know, what mount are you using for the cam to get that shot? It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#
PhreeZone 20 #15 April 22, 2003 That one was taken from a frame grab on my Pc110 with a kenko .43 with the macro lens. It was on a home made Belly cam mount that works EXTREMELY well. The mount is undergoing a few mods based on my jumps on it last weekend. Basically we are making it more comfy to wear. It had the tendency to cut in to the legs where it hit the leg hardware. Granted it fit the owner (not me ) very nice to start with but what fun are toys if you can't share them?? RevJim 0 #16 April 22, 2003 Thanks. I'll remember that. I want to leave the DV and still on my head though. I'm thinking about a very basic belly mount for my simple 2.1 MP digital still though. All this thinking, there must be smoke coming out of my ears. That's it, I'm going to bed. Night all. It's your life, live it!
