jfields 0 #1 March 10, 2003 Okay, I'm officially annoyed. I placed my order for a new jumpsuit on Dec. 21. I got measured and forked over full payment in cash. They tell me 6-8 weeks. Okay, I'll be patient. Being the good guy, I promise myself that I won't call every week and bug them about the status of my order. That only annoys them and ties them up answering phones instead of making gear. It has been 11 weeks, so I finally break down and call them. The gear dealer is closed, so I called the manufacturer. They never received my order. They advised me to call the dealer (when they reopen) and get the dealer to pay for expedited 2-4 week rush service on my suit. The moral of the story? In this case, the good guy lost. Next time, I'll be the squeeky wheel. I might annoy everyone, but at least they won't forget my order. I'm pissed! No more Mr. Nice Guy! sdctlc 0 #7 March 10, 2003 Given the manufacturer told you to contact the dealer, have you been able to get them and have they agreed to the rush at N/C to you? Sounds like they dropped the ball on you. I would be sure to dig out proof of purchase. It is too bad you dont have a a canceled check or credit receipt. Hopefully the proof of purchase is signed and dated with a reference to a 6-8 week delivery. Dealing with cash is good and bad, a paper trail sometimes is important. Good Luck and I would be interested in hearing the outcome. Scott C."He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
SkydiveMonkey 0 #8 March 10, 2003 If it helps, I got 2 suits with Air Care - my Ff suit took 6 days (including the weekend in the middle), and my RW suit took 2 weeks. ____________________ Say no to subliminal messages

It is totally different! With you, they have to figure the best way to accentuate your wonderful figure with their product. It is like deciding how to accessorize a goddess. Damned near anything they do takes away from the natural beauty of the subject. With me, they are just trying to figure out how to slow an ugly fatboy down without resorting to using a Manta 300 as a drogue on my ass. Clear? Of course, let everyone know where bad stuff happened and what they did, if anything to fix it. mountainman 0 #15 March 10, 2003 I see no reason not to mention it. I think people have a right to know when things happen. When it is big business, most people have no problems telling. PhillyKev 0 #16 March 10, 2003 Are you sure the dealer F'd up? You said the manufacturer claimed they didn't get the order. How do you know it wasn't sent to them and they screwed up?

jfields 0 #18 March 11, 2003 I got a phone call this morning from the gear dealer. There was a minor glitch on their side, but they are fast-tracking the order with the manufacturer and making everything right by me. Assuming it gets here in the newly-revised timeline and the manufacturer makes it right, I'll be happy. They were apologetic and took care of the situation. jfields 0 #23 April 22, 2003 QuoteI noticed you've finally got your jumpsuit. How was this resolved? It was resolved to my satisfaction. The unmentioned, but often secretly pimped online gear dealer took care of me. I may have a minor issue with the fit of the suit, but that is to be determined. The dealer definitely (over)corrected the mistake.
