KillerKimmy 0 #1 April 17, 2003 Hey Gene, I remember you saying you couldn't get your pics to download, so I put them on here, maybe it will help? The one called stnhnorngsun I was thinking could be the over all piece. Having some grass in it and so on. THen I thought I'd need it closer maybe from a strange angle looking from the ground up into the sky next to one of the stones so that the stone looks huge in the foreground...Bla bla bla Ideas are cruising through my head, but these are the pics that inspired them. Mostly the stonehengeblue and the stnsilcloud one. Check it out and let me know next time I see you:)

nacmacfeegle 0 #8 April 18, 2003 Try this, google for 'stone circles' or go direct to this page http://www.stonepages.com/ Which lists a number of sites with descriptions etc for further googling. Worthy examples being Callanish on the Isle of Lewis, and the Ring of Brodgar in Orkney. I live in Aberdeen just now, there are quite a few stone circles around here....The GKs and the Red Devils jumped into Stonehenge last year, which must have been pretty cool! -------------------- He who receives an idea from me, receives instruction himself without lessening mine; as he who lights his taper at mine, receives light without darkening me. That sucks.........But GREAT pics, wish I was there:):) Anyone can carry out a parachute jump into Stonehenge. All you need to do is ask. And have a notam (you may also need to be a BPA registered demo jumper, but ill have to check that out.) And have the landowners permision, which only requires filling out one simple form. However you can only gain entry to the stones outside of normal opening hours, so summer is about the best time to do it. If I can offer any more assistance please let me know. The attached pic shows a much more select demo arena. BuzzIt's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
