dropdeded 0 #1 April 25, 2003 Not sure if it came from a specific song,my step-daughter was downloading a crap load of music yesterday. It was "loveletter" something.NORTON warned me but I had to chase it around and scan my computer 3 times before I finaly deleted it. I dont know crap about computers but I thought Id toss out a warning for Kaazaa users. dropdeded------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. -
mountainman 0 #2 April 25, 2003 A couple tips: 1) Make sure your virus program is ALWAYS uptodate. 2) Make sure your virus program is set to automatically scan incoming and outgoing files. It'll usually catch it like that. 3) Get rid of Kazaa and install Kazaa Lite http://www.kazaalite.tk. Lite doesn't have any spyware in it. Also, download AdAware 6 http://www.lavasoftusa.com and scan your computer to detect and remove all the spyware you have (TONS). 4) Remember that NO antivirus program works 100% of the time. Just be careful of what you download. http://www.brandonandlaura.com

PhillyKev 0 #5 April 25, 2003 It's socially irresponsible to not have up to date virus protection on your computer these days. It's like coming home from China and then walking around sneezing on people.

mountainman 0 #9 April 25, 2003 QuoteTry AVG anti virus free and its updated free of charge www.grisoft.com If I were you, I would go out and buy Norton AV 2003 or something. AVG usually isn't as up-to-date as the other (read: for profit) companies. Get something good.http://www.brandonandlaura.com
