beemertec 0 #1 April 25, 2003 Check out www.seasilver.com and let me know what you think. My trainer gave me a bottle because he said it had a lot of the amino acids I need for recovery. I do my homework and check out the website. This stuff "Cures what ails ya" I could not believe that they would even attempt these claims in today's society. Oh well, I guess people still fall for it. See ya! Blue Skies Steve Ok, so it's pink, but I'm secure in my manhood, and I still look cool coming in under it! Guest #2 April 25, 2003 I think it's due to the dumbing-down of our society. More junk science is polluting our culture, and bogus health claims are not only NOT being investigated / prosecuted by our federal officials, they've gone so far as to spend our tax dollars to set up research into "non-traditional" silliness like aromatherapy and accupuncture. Small wonder that magnetic bracelets and the like are being touted. Sad."The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat."
jillr 0 #3 April 25, 2003 I see thousands of peices of spam mail quarantined by our filter for this product here at work. Any company or product that produces that much crappy email can't be worth it. You couldn't pay me to support their practices...
andy2 0 #4 April 25, 2003 start a healthy diet consisting of many fruits and vegetables and enough protein. Protein shakes are great, the weight gainer protein stuff body builders drink. Run everyday. Lift weight 3-4 times a week. Do 100 crunches everyday. After you do this sort of stuff you'll laugh at snake oil. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm... TheAnvil 0 #5 April 25, 2003 Most of that supplement stuff is a bunch of crap. If you're trying to bodybuild, some of it is useful. There's a product called Xenadrine that has produced some undeniable results for a lot of people. But if it seems to be too good to be true, then it probably is. No company worth anything would make such ludicrous claims. Beers to all, Vinny the Anvil Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!! beemertec 0 #6 April 25, 2003 They actually did recieve a letter from the FDA warning them against numerous illegal claims, and stated with the claims they were making, they were selling a drug not a supplement. http://www.fda.gov/foi/warning_letters/g3383d.pdf Apparently they have not heeded the warning. The part that really cracked me up is that they don't tell you how much citamins and minerals are in there, and in the FAQ's they actually state Seasilver™, being a whole food product, does not contain any synthetic nutrients. Nature cares about balance, not potency. The key to nature is its unique ability to always balance the ration of vitamins to macro minerals, to trace minerals, to amino acids, to enzymes. Potency in nature will vary. This is why you never see the amount of nutrients listed on foods in the produce section of your grocery store. We know oranges contain Vitamin C. If you pick 10 oranges off the same tree, they will all have a different amount of Vitamin C, but the ration of nutrients one to another will be the same, in nature's perfect balance. That's the secret to Seasilver™'s effectiveness. *** That cracked me up. Oh well, as you said society is getting dumber. beemertec 0 #8 April 25, 2003 QuoteThere's a product called Xenadrine that has produced some undeniable results for a lot of people. Doesn't that stuff have ephedrine in it? I was thinking I had heard about health problems from Xenadrine. Could be wrong though. So many supplements out there. I don't buy the claims of half of them. BikerBabe 0 #9 April 25, 2003 Quotenon-traditional" silliness like aromatherapy and accupuncture. OK, I'm with you on aromatherapy, but accupuncture WORKS. Not silly at all. Try it. SpeedRacer 1 #10 April 25, 2003 Yeah, accupuncture actually does seem to have something behind it. And of course, some herbal remedies are actually quite effective. "Alternative medicine" is a big umbrella, and includes some things that actually work, as well as a whole bunch of other things that are complete bullshit. JJohnson 0 #11 April 25, 2003 I have used acupuncture for years, and it works. Quite a bit of herbal remedies work as well. I won't defend snake oil or most of "alternative medicine. But acupuncture has kept me from surgery for the last 5 years.JJ "Call me Darth Balls"
