Dumpster 0 #1 April 27, 2003 0:4:1 That first number is getting old- BEER! Got our Team Name- We're Bump -n- Grind. Thnaks to Holli M. for christening us as such. Look for us on the rookie circuit! Four great team jumps Saturday with ZeroG, Ladyskydiver, and Cody. Got some great coaching from Lem, and I think we're really starting to show some real improvement. This is kickass! Spent today playing Joe Homeowner, working in the yard and such. Wow. Fun. Easy Does It

CanuckInUSA 0 #7 April 27, 2003 1:4:0 One fucked up weekend where the Skydivers of Mile-Hi Skydiving in Longmont CO lost their DZO (Jeff Sands) who was killed Saturday afternoon while performing aerobatic maneuvers in a Pitts Special airplane (another person also perrished in the accident). Four very fun jumps on Saturday prior to hearing about the bad news about Jeff. And then that was it for jumping as the DZ has been closed pending the result of Jeff's estate and any sort of will he may have had. BSBD Jeff ... Magistr8 0 #14 April 27, 2003 0:2:1 2 Great skydives at WSDC. Was doing papper pulls this weekend. First just went flawless even ran out my landing in higher than normal winds. 2nd jump, looked up after papper pull and saw a bag, but no canopy. After 2 seconds it opened and I managed to slide in on my belly. 1- Bubba of beer not owed for anything just had it and thought I would share. Sunday ( today) is raining and it generally miserable so no jumps. I can't wait until next weekend. "Impossible is a word to be found only in the dictionary of fools." ladyskydiver 0 #15 April 28, 2003 0:7:1 Quote BEER! Got our Team Name- We're Bump -n- Grind. I'm including Wednesday's jumps in the jump number. Had 2 team jumps, and 1 fun jump with ZeroG. The fun jump just ended up being us 2 wrestling in the sky having fun and laughing the entire time. Did 4 team jumps on Saturday and got our team name. And, if you saw video of us, you'd agree - Team Bump 'n' Grind is perfect for us. Went to the DZ today - after all, it's 75F, sunny, no clouds to be seen, and....had winds of 25mph with gusts up to 33mph. Decided to go up on a load. Manifested....put together a fun 4-way....got in the plane....felt turbulance at 3 different altitudes....got on jump run...and decided with having seen all the posts in the incident forum and with things not feeling "right" to ride the plane down. Bummed that I chose not to jump, but glad I chose not to jump. To borrow Plummet's saying "I'd rather be on the ground wishing I was in the air than in the air wishing I was on the ground."Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly! Vallerina 2 #25 April 28, 2003 Cool team name! I like! My numbers: I ordered 1 new Firefly:4:0 (My theory, as opposed to the other "theories" which aren't really true) I think God is pissed that I talk too much, so God gave me laryngitis for the weekend. It kinda stunk that my nephew couldn't understand Auntie V saying, "Happy Birthday!" to him. It's been awhile since I have done a 20-way, so I had some nerves goin' on. Under canopy, my legs were shaking! (I almost pulled a calf muscle while tracking, too! I need to workout more.) I met Sarge and Nathaniel around the bonfire! Remember that toast I taught you! It's the best one ever. I got to hang out with Smooth, Listo, Andyman and the beautiful Craichead (did you take care of Andyman? ) Yours truly, Squeak There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
