I have to say this is the most ridiculous reason I've ever seen to use rec.skydiving instead of dropzone.com (or any other forums, as if there are so many alternatives): From a post on rec.skydiving, Frequently Asked Question #4: Quote 4. I like the Personal Messages and avatars on another board. Rec.skydiving does not have those features, why should I post here? Personal Messages (PMs) are not private. Your message is stored in a database that the webmaster can read without your knowledge. Jumpers run most skydiving related boards. They may have a personal interest in your communications. ISPs are not likely to read your email, unless you are involved in some illegal activity. Ok, there's no direct mention of sangiro or dropzone.com at all. Perhaps this person is referring to other skydiving message boards. But I think we're all thinking the same thing... Sangiro, WHO ARE YOU SELLING OUR SECRETS TO? It's skydive las vegas, isn't it??
