Guest #11 May 1, 2003 That's a darned shame. It was alleged that he was losing thousands of dollars per day at the WFFC. There were plenty of people that took multiple rides on the 412 (I heard an unsubstantiated rumor about one guy who made nineteen jumps from the 412 during the convention), but it still wasn't enough. Man, I am so bummed out. As far as I'm concerned, Rod Tinney is the star of the WFFC. It won't be the same without him.I hope everyone will email him and wish him all the best. If the economy picks up and the numbers at the WFFC increase (attendance at WFFC 2002 was half of 2000), it'll be worth his while to come back next year. Rod loves to fly the 412 at the WFFC - you can see him in the cockpit with that insane grin on his face every time you fly with him. I'm sure that he'd be at the WFFC if there was any possible way for it to happen.
