bluefingers 0 #3 May 2, 2003 Well, we headed off down to the Margate Boogie, hoping to squeeze in a few more jumps out the King Air at 14 000ft Unfortunately, it wasn't to be .... left home at 6am for the 1 1/2 hr drive, got to the airfield, and sat and shivered in 15 - 20 knot winds. After a while we went and had a huge breakfast, then back to airfield, then went on a bit of a road trip, showing Erno (dz.com's ernokaikkonen) a bit of the south coast. Back to the airfield. Still windy. So we went off to Oribi gorge and did a gorge swing (90m), in full skydiving gear (sans rig of course! Erno rumbled about a base but there was no landing area, besides I don't think the organisers would have been too impressed! ) - jumpsuits, helmets the works. The guys running the show thought we were nuts Will try post pics a bit later .... Kerry
