wmw999 2,589 #1 May 4, 2003 Woohoo! Saturday. It was a 62-way, built on the 4th try, good enough that we added a couple of latecomers, and went for 64. Met BarbaraDuke, Skyangel2 and Homer, along with a lot of other folks obviously. Probably some other dropzone.com folks, but we don't come with labels. Obviously I need a t-shirt... Virtual case-o-beer for the dz.com crowd! As a by-the-by, ask homer and flyangel2 about the Cancer Survivors' jumps. flyangel2 2 #7 May 6, 2003 Sorry to bump this up, but heck, I only got home just a few hours ago. Where to start. Had a wonderful time having Wendy dock behind me. I'm ashamed to admit, but I didn't realize Wendy was there till we ran into each other at the lunch counter. She looks just like her picture. (maybe I should put a picture of me, so others can find me.) Had to wear weight for the POP's jumps, since I got stuck in a four way line. Most times I'm on the outside, so that was strange. Homer and I did the Cancer Survivor jumps and set a new record of 16. I believe that's a case of beer for Homer, being it's his first World Record. Had to wear 23 pounds of weight to keep the base falling fast enough on the Cancer jumps. Gee, that skinny Homer can fall fast, even though he get's mixed up about his perception of what really happens on a skydive. Meet Airtwardo, and BTW, I wouldn't admit to knowing Walt. On my connecting flight back to Colorado, in Dallas, I was surprised to see Mustard on the same flight. She was returning from Florida. We had a great time sitting next to the toilet and catching up on life. She got two free beers on the flight cause she complained about the smell.
