I live about 5 miles from the impact site. I had just gone to bed when there was a tremendous brilliant white light that lasted about 8 - 10 seconds, followed by a huge boom. The GF slept right through it!

The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.

I'm an engineer - of course I have duct tape handy.:)
