jfields 0 #1 May 13, 2003 Which one do you like the best? Before anyone tells me I forgot Martha Stewart, I didn't. She is evil, so I intentionally omitted that foul creature from the poll.
BoobieCootie 0 #2 May 13, 2003 My current favorite is Mr Let's kick it up a notch, BAM! STICK AORUND!Used to be Jeff Smith of the Fruggle Gourmet till he started molesting his assistant

jfields 0 #4 May 13, 2003 I couldn't get them all in, so I just picked some of the highlights. However, I had to preemptively clarify Martha's absence and my loathing of her.
jerm 0 #5 May 13, 2003 alton brown ueber alles!! Landing without injury is not necessarily evidence that you didn't fuck up... it just means you got away with it this time

SkyDekker 1,465 #7 May 13, 2003 Gotta be Iron Chef, that show cracks me up
jfields 0 #8 May 13, 2003 Alton Brown rules! The Iron Chef is funny, but totally nothing I'd eat. Emeril is overrated and he uses too much damned salt. Jamie Oliver's old show was better than his new one. The "Follow that Food" and "Unwrapped" shows don't help you cook anything, but they are fun to watch and make you hungry. nws01 0 #11 May 13, 2003 I met Justin Wilson when I was in college. He cooked at our food thing and got me drunk off of cheap wine. He is a funny guy.

jfields 0 #14 May 13, 2003 You need a demonstration of "the Naked Chef's" cooking technique? I'm available and we could schedule it for the WFFC.
SLOfreefall 0 #15 May 13, 2003 Iron Chef always puts me into some hypnotic state where I can't seem to work my finger to change the channel. Perhaps it's the exotic foods?
jfields 0 #16 May 13, 2003 Either that or you are mesmerized by the difference in speed of the people's mouths and what they are saying, like in old Godzilla movies.
jceman 1 #17 May 13, 2003 For the food, I like FoodNation with Bobby Flay, for eye candy, I have only two words: Jill Cordes! Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?
dterrick 0 #18 May 13, 2003 Here Here! Alton rocks! I often reply "Emeril's my hero" because everybody knows who he is now. But, because Good Eats gets right into the physiology of food I learn far more from Alton than Emeril. That's all good. Chairman Kaga must be on crack, but the showmanship is as amusing as the fortune teller lady who curls her nose and calls "...innnnteresting" when it looks like she'd rather barf. Jamie Oliver's simple style is good and I've learned some neat things but not as neat as Alton's lectures. It's interesting to note which chefs are NOT around anymore, too. And, catching a very early Emeril's Kitchen episode (not Emeril live) is quite interesting - until he developped his BAM! personality he was really quite boring. Dave Life is very short and there's no time for fussing and fighting my friend (Lennon/McCartney)
pilotdave 0 #19 May 13, 2003 You all are crazy! Unwrapped is the best show on TV. Ok, maybe not THE best. But its AWESOME. Dave
