KawiZX900 0 #1 May 16, 2003 don't even know why I bothered to get up today.. My bed is way to comfortable, and the breeze was decent this morning as well... didn't help that I watched Endless Summer 2 before I went to bed last night... Hit the snooze alarm 10 times this morning.. Accelerate hard to get them looking, then slam on the fronts and rollright beside the car, hanging the back wheel at eye level for a few seconds. mnischalke 0 #3 May 16, 2003 the snooze is evil. I have to smack it at least 5 times a day to keep it in line. Q. eeneR 3 #5 May 16, 2003 What is even more evil.....an alarm that lets you set your snooze to what ever time you want.... I set it once for 30 min....and forgot. kiltboy 0 #6 May 16, 2003 Am I the only one that wakes up and then resets the alarm for an extra 30 mins? The snooze is evil. David
jessd 0 #7 May 16, 2003 I hit the snooze button about 3 times before I actually get out of bed each day. I have to get up and walk across the room to do this too - I should just start setting the alarm for a 1/2 hour later than I do. mnischalke 0 #8 May 16, 2003 Then, you'd be a half hour late, because you'd still walk across the room and hit the snooze three times. You've programmed yourself. mike Girls only want boyfriends who have great skills--You know, like nunchuk skills, bow-hunting skills, computer-hacking skills. I put the clock across the room intentionally so i would have to get up to snooze it. But i still get up, shut it up, and climb back into bed at least twice every morning. mnischalke 0 #12 May 16, 2003 When I joined the USMC, I kept my sleepwalking to myself--the whole thing of going to other rooms and peeing in corners and such. Now I quite enjoy waking up someplace i don't remember going. It usually happens when I have been up for at least 36-40 hours. That is such a cool feeling when you are doing stuff but nothing is registering. hehehe mike Girls only want boyfriends who have great skills--You know, like nunchuk skills, bow-hunting skills, computer-hacking skills. jwilson 0 #14 May 16, 2003 i always hit the snooze button at least 3 times a day. Somedays I really just need to get right up and have that extra time to do something but it doesn't work out , I still snooze 3 times. JAy
Slowfaller 0 #15 May 16, 2003 That snooze button gets hit 5 times every work morning and my alarm clock is an hour and ten minutes fast. So i get out of bed at 10:12am when I start work at 10am. I guess it makes me feel like I'm sleeping later. Has anyone been sleeping really good where you don't know, or forget, how to turn your alarm off when it goes? There have been many times when I've woken up, picked up the whole alarm clock and tried yanking the plug from the wall and then finally realize that I just have to hit the snooze button or slide the dial to "off"....actually broke one doing that. mnischalke 0 #17 May 16, 2003 Two days ago, I was so dead asleep, I didn't know how to stop that infernal noise near my head. It was prolly going off for 20 minutes, but it was just loud white noise since I dialed it away from the pre-programmed station trying to get it to shut up. Finally, I fumbled around with it until it stopped...three hours later, I woke up refreshed as hell, but still three hours late for work. ooops mike Girls only want boyfriends who have great skills--You know, like nunchuk skills, bow-hunting skills, computer-hacking skills. Dumpster 0 #18 May 16, 2003 Quote That is such a cool feeling when you are doing stuff but nothing is registering. hehehe Reminds of when I was working an assembly line on third shift - The shift started at 11:30 and first break was at 2:00. I looked at the clock at just after midnite - At 2:00 the break bell sounded - I don't remember a thing for that whole two hours - My brain was coasting in neutral and the rest of my body was on autopilot. Gives a whole new meaning to the term "mind-numbing". I was making $6.50 an hour for that. Pretty good cash back in 1984- Easy Does It
