MC208B 0 #1 May 19, 2003 Hi all, I jumped my new canopy today. It's a 190 Hornet. Had only jumped my 220 Raider and student gear before. I must say that I am impressed, glad I bought it! Compared to my old F111 skybarge, it is a hot rod (well, at least for an old fart like me). Didn't stand up the landing (flared to high) but I didn't bust my ass either. b1jercat 0 #2 May 19, 2003 HI, know what you mean about (hot rod ) I jump a 190 saber loaded at 1.35 I stand up (run out ) about half my landings. I know the hornets and the sabers are pretty close in flight characteristics. I was having an off day and flared high on all three jumps. Got my ass chewed on for doing a carving 180 landing too close to the runway, I'm my own worst enemy. Jump 2 1st guy down sets up to the south, I set up to the south and everyone else goes north. No one knows who the first guy down was. Jump 3 flared a little too soon , waited a little too long to finish flaring , and got a nice grass stain on my leg strap.Other than that everything was fine. blue skies jerry Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
