Blue2003 0 #1 May 22, 2003 Hey all: After statring AFF last May, failing levels and running out of money, I went to Eloy to complete AFF. First jump first day as those of there know tore ligaments in ankle. PT for three months. It all finally paid off. I MADE MY GRADUATION JUMP ON TUESDAY after one year and 35 jumps. I am so thrilled. It was great to have some of my friends there for my jump and two buddies calling all day for updates. Only thing missing my boyfriend who suffered right along side me through this process. He was watching tge kids so I could finish that day. Who's got it better then me? Anyway, thanks for all the encouragement during my injury and trying not to give up."Cloudy Skies look different through skydivers eyes. Is that a hole in the clouds I see?" Let's get driving! fundgh 0 #4 May 22, 2003 Could this be a new Record for most jumps to complete AFF! That is some persistance, way to go. I guess you have determined by now that this is not something you are doing just for kicks. How many cases of beer do you owe, there has to be a few firsts in there! ...FUN FOR ALL! Blue2003 0 #5 May 22, 2003 No that is not a record. You are right I decided a long time ago that I was going to be a skydiver. I love the sport, the learning, the people. It is the most fun I have had in years. Beer, I just try and bring at least a 12 pack to the DZ a week and call it even."Cloudy Skies look different through skydivers eyes. Blue2003 0 #6 May 22, 2003 Thanks, I plan on being safe, If there one thing that is good when AFF takes a while is you get to spend alot of time watching other jumpers and see who you want to be like. I want to be around when my kids start jumping. They are 4 and 6 now so 15 years is a goal."Cloudy Skies look different through skydivers eyes. Is that a hole in the clouds I see?" Let's get driving! Sebazz1 2 #10 May 22, 2003 Congratulations my friend!! It is commitment that will eventually lead you to success and great reward. It is hard to convey that to people sometimes, especially folks that may struggle a bit with their skydiving progression... Cheers to you again!!!Epic blue skies and great white puffies to you!!
