LouDiamond 1 #1 March 9, 2012 From Vigil: Dear Vigil owner, We have discovered that a limited number of LCD controllers with software version 2.20 are “freezing” or “locking” during the start up sequence or in some cases directly after landing. As a preventive action, we advise the affected Vigil owners to replace their 2.20 LCD during the next reserve repack. The replacement LCD will be provided free of charge. ( Please see attached information bulletin) We will be sending another email to any Vigil USA dealer who has received shipments pertaining to this bulletin. We will attach a document listing all of the serial numbers of Vigils originally equipped with an LCD software version 2.20 that have been sent to dealers. Dealers,if you have received Vigils included in this information bulletin, we request that you please notify your concerned Vigil customer if possible. As a reminder, this action is recommended at the next reserve repack to avoid any future inconveniences due to the possibility of a problem with these controllers. Please note, for each replacement LCD controller request, we will require (before shipment) the serial number of the Vigil it will be placed on. We will include a prepaid mailer for the return of the original controller to us. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to you or your customers.
