harryskydives 0 #29 April 18, 2003 So My laptop walked off recently. I am comparing the Dell Inspiron 660m with the Centrino wireless chip to the Inspiron 1100 Pentium 4 2Ghz. The 4 seems like more computer for less #899 + $49 for wireless card, to $1299, no card needed, for the Centrino. What am i missing. Price is an object, at least untill jumps become free. Don't run out of altitude and experience at the same time...

riddler 0 #31 April 19, 2003 Quote2. I've had good luck with the Sony Vaios. There are three sizes of Vaio, and I've found that small laptops are, in general, more durable than larger laptops. I agree with BillVon here - I have a home network of various laptops, and Vaio's are better than IBM, Dell, Gateway, et al. Toshiba is a close second IMO Also, the CD-ROM can be swapped out for a second battery ($150) to double your battery life. UBid.com has some great deals on all laptops, including Vaio.Trapped on the surface of a sphere. XKCD
