quade 4 #8 May 23, 2003 My guess is that you only knew ahead of me by a few moments. ltdiver has pretty fast fingers when it comes to text messages. Wrote me this afternoon just a few minutes after it happened, but -I- didn't want to break it here & glad you did. I called JP a couple of hours ago. He's fine, but won't be playing with us this weekend -- or with much of anyone in the sky for the next 6 to 8 weeks.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

Can't blame him... sitting around a dz when you're injured sucks. But we're sooooo gonna miss him! He broke his right ankle, but not badly. No surgery needed. Fine, I'm going home... Somebody better be here Saturday though Oh yeah, and sorry about the leg Deuce!
wmw999 2,589 #16 May 23, 2003 DEUCE! What'd you go and do that for! Actually, that really sucks. You bring fun to every load. So tell me they were kidding and be there when I get there. If not, well, just heal up quick and enjoy playing with your girls. Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. Hey, after the sunset load we all went out to eat at Sizzler, then concluded the fun with ice cream at Baskin Robbins! Where were -you-?!! JP fractured the cuboid tarsal bone of the foot. The area was too swollen for a plaster cast right now, so they soft casted it (as skybytch's pic shows). Sucks alot! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

ltdiver 3 #23 May 23, 2003 Quote Bummer. Looks like he'll have to drink to pass the time! Actually....JP brought a whole case of beer that he said he was -not- taking home with him tomorrow....and so the group disappeared toward this tent after we all left Baskin Robbins. Not sure how soon the group will be up and functioning tomorrow now. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

AggieDave 6 #25 May 23, 2003 JP, you fuckhead, why did you do that? Hey, here's to quick healing so you can get back into the sky! *lifts beer* I fractured a bone in my foot once (the main one going to the big toe, which ever that is). Not only was I healed in a bit under 4 weeks, at 4 weeks I was back training (Tae Kwon Do). So chin up buddy!--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
