jessd 0 #1 April 1, 2003 My brother just started drumming for a new band a few months ago. They are actually pretty good. They play around the Boston area - so if you live around here check them out. Plus - you could have a beer with me. Check out there site if you want. The drummer featured there now is not my brother - it's the old drummer. Let me know what you think. www.blindbynoon.com "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away..." staticnewbie 0 #6 April 1, 2003 Cool, would they take it as a compliment to be likened to System Of A Down? And I'm not even angling for a place to crash if I do come to Boston! This username sucks, so I'm BBKid now instead. Replies, insults, sexual favours and death threats to be sent there from now on.

I hate when that happens. Tell them if they visit me I'll buy them beer. This username sucks, so I'm BBKid now instead. ginandjuice 0 #20 May 5, 2003 I can relate to being happy for a brother. My brother played an "open mike night" at the Hideout in Chicago which Billy Corgan was also performing at. Most of the members of Zwan played after my brother did and later Billy's manager asked my brother back the next week to play again. My brother isnt a solo artist, he's in a band called Catfish Haven. BBKid 0 #22 May 5, 2003 OK, I know this is a bit unlikely, but if those guys are ever going to be in the UK, I know of loads of great venues which have reputations for attracting media attention, and I know people who could try to get them a gig there. This place called the Cavern springs to mind... Nick --------------------------- "I've pierced my foot on a spike!!!"
jessd 0 #23 May 26, 2003 My brother's band was one of the opening bands this past Thursday for Godsmack at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield Ma. They did great!! They got invited to and opened for them again in Saratoga, NY last night. I did not go because I was in NYC for the weekend already. But, I hear that they did a great job. Check these guys out if you are ever in the Boston area - it's always a good time. "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away..."
