skybytch 273 #1 May 27, 2003 People who don't skydive shouldn't order skydiving equipment. If they are going to insist on ordering skydiving equipment they should find out from the end user the brands and sizes and options before they contact a supplier for a bid. And three of them shouldn't contact me on the same day for quotes on the same stuff for the same end user. And if they're going to all contact me on the same day, they shouldn't make that day a Monday - or even worse a Tuesday after a Monday holiday. And if they're going to contact me on a day that is worse than a Monday, they shouldn't call me up to ask when they'll get the quote. Is it Friday yet? skybytch 273 #9 May 27, 2003 Quote You've leaving soon. Tell em where to go Nah. It could be a decent order. I'm just glad all I have time to do is quote them. These kind of orders are from hell. Example - they want 252 sq ft mains, 180 sq ft reserves and they want containers that are set up for up to 26 foot LoPo round reserves. What's wrong with that picture, hmmm???? freeflir29 0 #10 May 27, 2003 Lisa...the Square peg WILL go in the round hole if you use a big enough hammer. Did you ask them if they planned on using the rigs more than once?
TEB6363 0 #11 May 27, 2003 There is nothing wrong with a 26 foot LoPo!!! AND, it fit good in that (ugly) old Racer I owned a "FEW" years ago Once the plane takes off, you're gonna have to land - Might as well jump out!!

My Racer dates to '82 (older than some "seniors" on our DZ) before squares were invented (...I think). So the Stellar has the world's shortest risers and it's a bit smaller than I'd like but it beats the terminal reservie I had on a 24 foot lopo .. that was the ka-boom!!
