pop 0 #2 May 28, 2003 I have one there. It shouldnt hurt much. The outline wll be the sensitive part. The rest is nothing. At least thats how it was for me7 ounce wonders, music and dogs that are not into beer
kansasskydiver 0 #3 May 28, 2003 yeah i have one about 8 inches by 8 inches dead centered between the shoulder blades. the first 3 inches of the outline hurt like a bitch, but then i got used to it. it was also my first tattoo. the filling you won't feel, it will just get warm. do you know if your tattoo guy uses the new gun? they have a new gun and needle system, doesn't make any noise or vibrate so it hurts less chris<--- See look, pink dolphins DO exist! okalb 104 #5 May 28, 2003 I just have a small one on my back. Most of the people from z-hills have seen it. It is a dragon. It didn't take very long . So far I think we have spent 98 hours on it. Someday it might actually be finished. -OK Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana
psuCory 0 #6 May 28, 2003 Mine is about 3x10 inches, just below the collar line... and for the most part did not hurt at all. All you feel is that buzzing, which becomes quite enjoyable (almost a meditative state). However, you can most defiantly tell when the artist is working directly over a vertebrae or the shoulder blade. As opposed to the rest of the back... over those areas the needle feels quite pointy .
