Jib 0 #79 May 28, 2003 Quote So since no one is telling me how this numbmer system works I am guessing this....have no clue what the first # should represent.....middle number is # of jumps and last is # of firsts. So I have ?:13:5 13 jumps and... first jump at new DZ other than home, first horny gorilla, first 4-way freefly, first stand attempt and LOTS of first jumps with new friends. Am I close? VanillaSkyGirl 6 #85 May 28, 2003 10 jumps before I blew my knee out Yikes, sorry to hear that, Kelli. It was great to meet you on Thursday, and thank you for the 2-way. (My boyfriend was thrilled to hear of my first 2-way with a girlfriend. ) My weekend: 1:6:4 1 day of climbing. Drove to Elsinore on Saturday morning with intentions to jump, but I had to be picked up and whisked away by my guy when I felt really sick (O jumps). Felt better and climbed the next day at Joshua Tree. 5 jumps Sunday (+ 1 pre-weekend jump w/ Skycat) at Elsinore with good friends! 4 firsts!!! 1st container of my own (w/ 14" harness!) bought from Kelli (What a sweetie! Thanks for everything, girl!) 1st time jumping a spectre ...WOW! It suited my canopy flying style to a tee. It was sooo easy to fly and land. Now I know what type of main to buy for the container! 1st time attempting a sit in a 2-way! (2nd time attempting ever) I tried a couple more jumps after that. It's quite difficult. Witnessed a head-down zoom down across from me. 1st track dive attempt (Ooops...we goofed ) All good fun!
mouth 0 #86 May 28, 2003 Way more than I can count or list right now:31:1 31 wonderful jumps including the DZ.com record, a 28 way with BillVon flying my tail LITERALLY, jumps with Michelle, MikeMcGowan (man does he smell good) Skypups 200th, a Monkey Jump where LouDiamond gave me a monkey bite, and so so many more to mention considering I just finally got home and it is almost 0300 here. I met so many wonderful new people and saw some great old friends. Life is good. -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit. PhreeZone 20 #87 May 28, 2003 1 total last minute trip:19:a few Perris rocked hard. I got convinced to buy a belly suit and use it finally. Beer for first greater then 20 way I was to take grips on, first formation load, first time in Cali, first time getting a bloody lip in freefall, and a few other firsts there too. Had a blast jumping with a few old friends and a lot of new ones. Michele is actually quite the little flyer in freefall.... even if I did scare her at break off. I can't believe manifest was questioning me being able to be down from a clear and pull and packed to back to back... I made it with enough time to dirt dive and rest too Next Gathering... I used a few of those tips that weekend and it took care of the issues I had with controlling the canopy. Even though I still pretty slow at it, way less stress. Skypup 0 #91 May 28, 2003 :24:cases upon cases Wow what a weekend!!! Finally got to meet everyone in person. (Yes that's right if you weren't there you are nobody) Bill and Amy have mounted themselves atop the pedastal for my favorite LO's. I had ridiculous amounts of fun playing with Mouth, ltdiver, phree, bytch, lizzyb, Hillary, wingnut, Wendy, jt and everyone else. Made my 200-th, first 14-way, on up to my first 28-way. Pulled way too low for my A-licence, not to mention my peace of mind, all weekend. Perfectly normal landing, middle of running it out, I slipped/tripped/whatever and twisted my knee. Hook was watching it and couldn't figure out why I went down. On the other hand, I made Mouth biff her landing cause she could hear me screaming threw both her and my fullfaces. Fly it like you stole it!

skycat 0 #99 May 28, 2003 Quote Quote middle of running it out LEARN TO SLIDE INSTEAD OF RUN!!!!!! Already past that part, the canopy wasn't flying very fast, but the ground was rather uneven and it was a crosswind landing (landing area is north/south ony). I just stepped wrong and since I have a bad knee it decided it don't like the way I put my foot down, I've sprained it just walking down a flight of stairs, when it wants to go it goes. I didn't do anything wrong, and if I did Hook would have told me in no uncertain terms that I screwed up since he was watching the whole thing. so BTFU!Fly it like you stole it!
