They pay me almost nothing to huh, but depending on what I'm doing at the moment they pay me too well or too little.

Actually, this weekend it's too little. I'm working a bunch of extra hours, on a weekend, and getting nothing extra in return. Salaried positions are like that. Sucks sometimes.

What do you do for ABC/Disney? I used to be a part of the illustrious Disney family- did the magical 'College Program' 3-month stint in Orlando back in '95 (which is also when I did my very first tandem in Deland...)

Television Technical Director. Video post-production and transmission mostly, but wear several hats depending on the needs. Based at The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. If you've ever seen anything on TV; commercials, news, publicity (or even in the movies like "That Thing You Do") from Disneyland or the area immediately around it, my department had something to do with it.

This morning we were doing live shots for a local TV station, KTTV and this afternoon we're doing a TV show called "Soap Talk". All this weekend we're hosting talent from ABC soap operas in a big marketing blitz. Go HERE and click on the ABC Super Soap bug.

Fortunately, the Ducks are doing poorly in the Stanley Cup. If they were to win, I'd also be dealing with their live TV victory celebration over at The Pond.

Very cool! Sounds like fun.

Wow! Linda Dano and Billy Warlock are still around?? Didn't she used to be on Another World and he used to be on Days? And what the hell is Port Charles? Vampires? Yikes.

I stopped paying attention to soaps back in Junior High, but I still know who the big actors are... Those shows crack me up.

I was a maid at the Haunted Mansion in Disney World, which was arguably one of the best positions I could have gotten as a College Program participant. Consider:
1.) Indoor (mostly)
2.) Air conditioned
3.) Nice breakroom
4.) Bathrooms on the premises
5.) Don't have to smile. At all.
6.) Get to scare small children, thus entertaining yourself and enriching their spooky little experience.
