scottbre 0 #1 March 19, 2002 Just curious, but how far do the powers that you moderators wield go? The reason I ask is because tellmewhy has made no effort to even cover up the fact that he/she/it? has set up another account name for the sole purpose of trolling the threads anonymously. Do you have the ability to actually delete said account and username, should you deem it appropriate?"Vindictiveness aside, the matchbook was a decent doubles partner. . ." Levin 0 #2 March 19, 2002 i don't think their power should go beyond thread locking. there seems to be alot going on and i can't figure out what is was because everything is deleted. i saw a thread yesterday titled 'lock this thread'. i guess i should have read it immediately instead of finishing what i was already reading. 2 minutes later it was gone. what's been going on here lately? None of us moderators work - how would we have time? Lisa's clever facade of working for Square One is just a cover for her true job. To prove this to yourself, stop by Perris and look in Square One any day of the week. You'll see Brenda, Frank, maybe Blue, but no Lisa! (Sorry, Lisa, but my conscience demands I tell the truth.)In reality we all sit deep underground in a secret command center. We all sit around this big round table with screens in front of us that allow us to monitor this board, rec.skydiving, dropzones all over the US through hidden cameras, even USPA board meetings. We are forever forging clever deals with DZO's, supervillians and freeflyers to cause trouble in skydiving. Michael Hawkes? We planted him in Vegas. That incredibly long ISP? Alan did that one. The tiny landing area in the Ranch? I keep buying up land around it and refusing to cut down the trees. Dust devils in Perris? Lisa has control of the secret dust devil generators we have buried out there. And, of course, we have the cloud generators near Monterey and the massive heaters under Eloy. All in all, it's not too bad a life. We used to have two evil clones somewhere down here who were always good for a laugh. We still have one, but he's not too good with computers, so he spends most of his time watching TV in the secret breakroom. We also, of course, have a huge throne for Sangiro, with a big red button on the armrest. We're not quite sure what that does, and so far we've been afraid to push it. When he's actually sitting in it we're all too busy quaking with terror to actually ask him. (Not that we don't appreciate him - he does a great job of keeping Batman and various government agencies off our backs.)We have a dungeon off to one side, and although Lisa keeps looking at it enviously, we haven't had anyone to throw in it yet.
