PhillyKev 0 #1 May 31, 2003 Haven't jumped in a month. For the month of May, there have been 27 days of rain. This is ridiculous. It's raining now, it's supposed to rain tomorrow, and looking at the forecast the week looks good up until the end of the week (e.g. the weekend) when it will be raining. THIS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

skymama 37 #5 May 31, 2003 I don't know what's worse...rain on your jump day, or sunny skies on a day you can't jump because of other obligations. Either way, it sucks! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
PhillyKev 0 #6 May 31, 2003 Well...I wasn't too upset about today because I'm at work anyway...but now it looks like the rain stopped, still overcast but ceiling looks high. So I could be jumping, but I'm working. Yeah...that sucks worse.

Landing without injury is not necessarily evidence that you didn't fuck up... it just means you got away with it this time
skybytch 273 #8 May 31, 2003 Quotetime to start using those personal days... Exactly. Like the next decent weather day that comes along - be gone. It's really a sick day. You're suffering from altitude withdrawal. They'll be much happier if they allow you to take that nice day to jump cuz you'll be much happier when you come back to work. Even if it means taking two days in a row so you can travel someplace where it isn't raining.

Muenkel 0 #10 May 31, 2003 Kevin, I understand completely. It has not stopped raining in New England for I don't know how long. Next weekend I begin AFF and so far the forecast is looking good. I'll believe it when I see it. Don't go postal on us. Hang in there. Chris _________________________________________ Chris
