qtensassy 0 #1 May 20, 2003 Gosia and I finally have our own place at SDC!!! It's a really cool trailer (or will be after a bit of work) and we're totally excited about it. Unfortunately one of the issues we are having is the person who lived in it before us had cats (at least one) and I suspect it/they missed the litter box on more than 1 occasion. We already pulled out all the carpeting which helped, but I think the "scent" is into the floor. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the smell out of a wood sub-floor? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!!! Thanks! Nik

eeneR 3 #3 May 20, 2003 I would have to recommend "Natures Miracle", you can get it from pet smart or petco. It works really really well. Also...as an FYI, cat urine will glow with a black light. You can pin point where you need to treat specifically. Most pet stores have the kits too.She is not a "Dumb Blonde" - She is a "Light-Haired Detour Off The Information Superhighway." eeneR TF#72, FB#4130, Incauto
Push 0 #4 May 20, 2003 Now I know why yellow black light paint smells funny -- Toggle Whippin' Yahoo Skydiving is easy. All you have to do is relax while plummetting at 120 mph from 10,000' with nothing but some nylon and webbing to save you.

skymama 37 #7 May 20, 2003 I second the Nature's Miracle, it works really well to break up the enzymes. The only bad part is it has to smell worse (while it's breaking it up) before it gets better. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

qtensassy 0 #9 June 2, 2003 Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the advice. After ripping up the carpeting and the tile that was beneath it we saturated the floor with Natures Miracle. Seems to have done the trick so far but we're going to do a 2nd coat to be sure. Thanks again!!!
