CanuckInUSA 0 #1 June 2, 2003 I just submitted my summer vacation request with the whuffo boss. I'm asking for either a week off in July to attend the Lost Prairie boogie or a week off in August to attend the WFFC. More of you will be at Rantoul (and I really would like to experience the WFFC). But I'm also told that Lost Prairie is a kick ass boogie and a fair number of people who I jump with in CO will be there. So time will tell. jerm 0 #2 June 2, 2003 pah!!! do both! Landing without injury is not necessarily evidence that you didn't fuck up... it just means you got away with it this time

CanuckInUSA 0 #6 June 2, 2003 QuoteSo quit! ' If I quit, then I have to leave the USA and move back to Canada. And with all due respect to my Canadian skydiving countrymen, the jumping is better in the USA than it is up north. CanuckInUSA 0 #8 June 2, 2003 QuoteOnly if the INS finds out... True ... I could sell my house in Canada and buy some sort of RV. Then move to Eloy, Perris or a FL DZ. Of course I've only got one year in the sport. I don't think cutting away is an option until I've been in three years. txblondie 0 #10 June 2, 2003 Working for a whuffo workaholic boss is no excuse! I work for TWO of them, and I pretty much hold my office together! Every time I take off for more than an afternoon, I come back to find that all hell has broken loose. Still, they've already told me I can take off whatever time is necessary to finish up my AFF training. So, if I can get away with that, surely you can find a way to get off for your trips! Best of luck to you!!! ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!
flyangel2 2 #11 June 2, 2003 See ya there. WFFC and I will have a tent area set up for jumpers from the Colorado area.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey
