Amazingly, Im finding more and more people at work who want to go out to Eloy, several of them have skydived before, so Im talking to everyone about forming a group, then seeing if we can get one of the managers here to sponsor a skydiving event to kick things off. Im hoping most of them, with the peer pressure, will go through AFF. The word seems to be spreading through the company like wildfire. Im hoping I can pull this off, and I know Eloy wouldnt mind. There was a small skydiving group of about 3 or 4 from last year who used to take off in the afternoon to go jumping, two of them got married, then laid off, and one broke her foot which required surgery. Everyone else would be going tandem, except for one person who doesnt want to go tandem. Then, we can only do it on the weekend due to afternoon dust devils. Im just worried about having to get used to this pull out vs the tandem ripcord Im now used to, but, gotta get used to it and thats the way it is! Somehow I think itll be nicer jumping without all that added extra weight.
