Vallerina 2 #51 May 13, 2003 Hey, Jack! You'll get a check from me in June! (Stupid unexpected bills....) On a somewhat related note...is there a list of things that we need for the tent started up yet? I could bring stuff, since I live close and have access to a truck. I will bring buckets for water and a slip and slide There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Vallerina 2 #54 May 13, 2003 Quote Are the dz.com rules that the Slip & Slide cannot be used while wearing clothing? I would never put "rules" on anything at the Convention! Like everything else there, clothing is optional! I'll take the option of wearing a bathing suit! But, seriously, if I can scrouge up an old sofa or something, I can try to bring one. If there's anything else (tables, etc) just let me know, and I'll see what I can do!There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
skybytch 273 #55 May 13, 2003 Here's what we have so far for the extras... jceman - $ collection and reserving the tent sunshine - the official dz.com twister game, TV trays, boombox RevJim - TV/VCR combo, big white board for sign in
Vallerina 2 #56 May 13, 2003 Okay, I'll keep my eye out for sofas and stuff. If I can't find one, they sell them there! I can bring a "jambox," too! So, bring some cds, kids! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I guess i can do that since i have Tammy's cell phone number. And i'll be on the look out for lots of awesome pink things to use as decoration. I have tons of those little parachute men we can use to decorate too. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug! sunshine 2 #59 May 13, 2003 QuoteI can bring a "jambox," too! So, bring some cds, kids! Good idea. During the day we can have one on the manifest radio and use one to listen to CD's. The one i'm bringing is also a CD player and whoever wants it, take it home with you. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug! During the day we can have one on the manifest radio and use one to listen to CD's Sometimes you need two radios to block people's voices out Actually, I think it's nice to have music in the background while sitting around, drinking beers, and bsing with everyone at the end of the day. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

jfields 0 #62 May 13, 2003 I'm flying in from the East coast, so I can't bring much, but I'll pitch in on some stuff while I'm there. That is, assuming I'm not too busy setting the all-time world-record Justin-way skydive.
jceman 1 #63 May 13, 2003 Quote How much are you short and can you wait till next friday? In reverse order, I can wait for both you and Val. Like I said earlier, I have an ace up my sleeve, but don't want to overburden him. As of today, I have $220, with at least 5 checks in the mail; I am trying to rise enough to cover the tent ($495) and the couches (figuring $100-150). If you sent a check and are wondering about its status, the only ones I've received as of today are two from Sunshine and one from PLFking. Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?

mark135 0 #71 May 17, 2003 Tried to do this through e-mail but it keeps coming back. We ( Sue and I) would like to be a part of this, seems like a great place to hang out when not jumping and an evening beer or 4. We have 0 cash to pitch in. we work at skydiving to help pay the bills and pay for wffc trip. can we hang out there? huh? can we? can we? I will video anyones jumps for a ticket and take stills. rw jumps that is. spend way to much time on working jumps to have learned to free fly. have to come up with a method of getting stills to the people who want them cuz I would like to keep the negatives_______________ "It seemed like a good idea at the time"

As I stated in another thread (Low Down On Location or something like that), all dotcommers are welcome at the tent. I got the tent last year and didn't badger people about payment, just accepted what was offered; this year my situation is a bit tighter so I am badgering for contributions, and I'm doing it early so we can all get this behind us and get on with planning a great time for all. I will post later on this weekend about where we stand and acknowledge via PM those whose checks I receive in the mail. Thanks all for your support thus far and let me restate -- the dropzone.com tent is for all dotcommers, no questions asked! Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money.
