SkydiveMonkey 0 #1 June 4, 2003 Any ideas how best to do this without leaving marks on the helmet afterwards?____________________ Say no to subliminal messages
wmw999 2,584 #2 June 4, 2003 Use a cheap mesh wig (they stretch more), put it on the outside, and sew it to a stocking cap on the inside. A little laborious, but it'll stay, and it'll come off. Push 0 #3 June 4, 2003 No, but when you do, get video -- Toggle Whippin' Yahoo Skydiving is easy. All you have to do is relax while plummetting at 120 mph from 10,000' with nothing but some nylon and webbing to save you.

cpoxon 0 #5 June 4, 2003 What sort of helmet? Last year, I attached mine to a ProTec which was handy because I had one lying around and it already has a lot of holes in it. I used cable ties to attached it; through the mesh of the wig and holes on the helmet. After jumping it, I used a lot more, to keep the wig down to the edge of the helmet to hide it (so I ended up routing through the holes and around the lip of the helmet) to keep the helmet hidden and to keep the wig more under control Word of warning, some of the bigger wigs were downright dangerous, especially when flown head down, due to obscuring vision and were being chopped back! I'm sorry I'm not going to be there for this one! Hope you have a cool time and the weather behaves!

Brains 2 #7 June 4, 2003 Ok, not exactly the same thing but it is original. This is my helmet (pic that avatar is from) It is a Velocity freefly helmet and the "wig" is attached with spirit gum and gaffers tape. Stays on in a sit/stand and all other manner of flying. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.
