Air and Water

Recommended Posts

Thought you might like to know that today I jumped at Brisbane Skydiving Centre. The air here feels the same as the air in America! When jumping down-under like this, do you think you're really falling "up" instead of "down"?

I've confirmed that water circulates counter-clockwise in wash basins here, but can't determine for sure what toilets do.

Dick

A friend of mine, Vic Napier, says that relative to the Northwest US I actually fell "up" in Australia, which means the Oz jumps and freefall time should be deducted from my North American jumps and freefall time. They cancel each other out, you see.

He says he thinks the USPA or the FAA or somebody has a rule about that somewhere. (I think Vic needs some mental adjustments up and down.)
