Muenkel 0 #1 June 7, 2003 I just completed the first half of ground school. Everyone I met at Jumptown were awesome. We spent a lot of time learning about dealing with every conceivable emergency. I'm due back at the dz at 8:30am for the more "hands on" and "physical practice training". We should be finished by noon and then we're cleared to jump level 1. I'm doing major praying for good weather as we do have a storm coming in, but they are saying late in the afternoon. I'm really hoping I can get that first jump done tomorrow. I'm still psyched and as I drove home from the dz tonight, I had a huge smile on my face. Thanks to all my posse for giving me the encouraging words. It's only been raining every weekend for like 2 months now. However, there is a bright side: Weather is supposed to clear tomorrow morning, so I am heading out to the dz for my level 1 jump and who knows, maybe level 2. I'm so pumped right now. BTW, my phone list people suck, except for the Bytch. I call everyone on the list and I get nothing but voice mail. And then there's Sunshine! Her's doesn't even go to voicemail, it just rings and rings and then a friggin busy signal. What the hell is that about? I thought this weekend was all about me. So now, Bytch is my favorite!
