I know I am not alone...

Recommended Posts

I am having a hard time focusing on my work today. Even though I did not know Roger Nelson, I had met him and he took the time to talk to me. That made a huge impression on me... and today, I feel like I want to spend as much time as I can here, with my other brothers and sisters. ChileRelleno mentioned in another thread this same thought, and I want to repeat it, from my heart... all of you are special to me... I feel like I know you... I do know some of you better than others... some hold a very special place in my heart for many different reasons... Let's do all we can to avoid loosing more of our family... it seems like it is getting smaller and smaller every weekend. For those of you that I haven't told directly... I care... thank you for being in my life, no matter how big or small of a part you have, you are a part of it.

Travis, I love you.

Because as skydivers we participate in an aberration sport, we have a tendency to become instant family. This is why we all wish each other good luck in the plane - because subconsciously, we believe that we may never see that person again. Lots of love to my sisters and brothers.

You are absolutely right. Good words.

Skydivers share something, we do something. We don't sit in a "sports" bar and watch, we do. When you step out the door, it changes the way your brain works. We all share that. We share freedom and happiness and that makes us different and special. There are too few of us and that is why these losses are so difficult. Be safe.
